EA hint naar een nieuwe multiplayer mode voor SSX met een korte teaser video. In de video is te zien hoe vijf snowboarders uit een helikopter springen.

Aan de video te zien zijn de andere spelers zichtbaar als een soort ghost/hologram tijdens de afdaling. In SSX is nu alleen nog asynchrone multiplayer aanwezig.
